Aaron Zimmer oversaw the preparation of tax returns for Singer Burke Zimmer & Kogan clients and took the lead in handling tax audits and tax planning for clients for nearly 30 years. A firm believer in the value of expert advice, Aaron was renowned for finding creative and skillful solutions to clients’ perplexing tax issues.
Before joining Singer Burke in 1994, Aaron worked in the tax department of Arthur Young & Company and was the tax partner at a mid-sized CPA firm. Later, he spent several years practicing tax law with an Encino-based law firm. He earned a bachelor of science in economics from UCLA and a J.D. from the University of San Fernando School of Law.
Aaron and his wife have four adult children and six grandchildren. He enjoys traveling to destinations like Italy, Israel and Cancun, and has been an active leader in a number of community organizations, including serving as the chairman for El Caballero’s United Jewish Fund of Los Angeles’ annual golf tournament, as well as the organization’s citywide Super Sunday phone-a-thon. In addition, he has been the chairman for the Swing Against Cancer golf tournament for USC Norris Hospital.
