As a principal of SB Capital Management, Stephanie Connor Arkof’s focus is on consulting with clients to clarify their financial situations and translate their goals and values into strategic financial decisions. She works with her team of partners to bring a key element to those decisions: a prudent investment framework. Her primary day-to-day responsibility is monitoring and overseeing trading on all of the firm’s investment accounts. She also works alongside Richard Singer in the due diligence and placement of private equity opportunities.
Her background in accounting makes Stephanie a natural liaison between SB Capital and Singer Burke Zimmer, while her experience in teaching enables her to synthesize all the details of a client’s financial situation and articulate solutions in a digestible format. Since 2003, she has enjoyed contributing to the holistic financial experience at Singer Burke and helping clients become better aligned with their goals. Working closely with clients, she feels blessed to bear witness to family milestones and professional achievements all the time.
Stephanie and her husband Michael, a screenwriter, live in Encino with an over-sized Alaskan Malamute named Koda Bear. Causes she’s passionate about include education, wildlife preservation and environmental health literacy, and her hobbies include travel and wine (she’ll rarely turn down a good Rhone), as well as home improvement, yoga, skiing, hiking and theater.
